Using WHMCS for desktop and server support billing?

Hello,

In addition to doing web hosing, I also do desktop and server support.

I have been trying to figure out how I coud use WHMCS for he desktop and server support side of the business. I see I can create an invoice but I can't figure out how to add additional information about the services I perform other than the one "description" line that is provided?

How would you go about setting up your hourly rates of these services?

Is there anyone using WHMCS for such purposes? Is it possible?

Thanks!

Build and Addon using hte addon manager?? I'm in the same boat that your in, and i have designed some addons to whmcs that talks with the clients and invoicing tables & support tickets..

This allows me to put together some "serivice tickets" and have it bill to the customers file when compelted.. It works like a charm..

Ohh also i just recently added on to it to allow for over hte phone support with a stop watch type counter to bill by the minute or hour or however you set it up for.. It works with existing service contracts or per incident charges

again it talks and generates invoices and updates the customer file..

I was just finishing up the API generation of invoices, then i would really have no problem sharing this as a community addon.. allthough keep in mind it revolves around some "products" and "configuarable QTY fields" i have setup in my DB..

I dont know if i would be able to provide any support for it.. but i would have no problem letting you dig through it in and adjust to oneo f your products..

Ill let you know when im finish.. i have an open post in this same FORUM in reguards to invoice API creation not working.. once thats answered im all done..

Ill follow up with ya.
