handsonwebhosting
What version of WHMCS are you running? Do you have multiple users? Could it be that you flaged a ticket for a user and you have an older version of WHMCS so it's not showing to you? If you log in as the client, does the ticket show for them?
ProfitRamp
i am using 3.7.1. I do have multiple clients but only 1 admin (myself). The client can login as see his "open" ticket but i am unable to see it at all. i have to go into the database and read it, then delete it from the database. i still have just sitting there to try any test a fix on. I have not flagged any tickets, its only me.

ProfitRamp
Well I figured it out. The tickets were submitted with no department. I noticed that in the database. so i added in a department id number directly to the database and the ticket popped up no problem in whmcs. Now for another headache. i tried several times to submit a ticket without a department. i cant do it. i was going to peek at the code in submittickets.php and see if i saw something fishy in an sql statement BUT i cant view the code in that file. is there another file that also handles the ticket submission process?
