Any way to dump all variables for a template?

I'm in the process of customizing some of our welcome email templates. Is there some way to simply dump all the variables that are available in the template? We have a lot of custom variables and configurable options on the product. Basically I just want to create an empty email template and dump out all the variables that are available when this particular product is provisioned.
