Cron Job...

Hey guys,

 

I have been using WHMCS for some time, seems to be going very well. I have only recently started to use CRON jobs, and also I only just set it up to be integrated with WHM.

 

How can I make it so it automatically updates my clients accounts, and the status each day, do I need to make another CRON job? It is not doing it with my current Cron job?

 

I am using WHM/Cpanel and WHMCS.

What you need to do is login to the cPanel of the server/account to which your site is hosted and create a Cron job for

 

php -q /home/username/whmcspath/admin/cron.php

 

Set a time to the cron that you want it to run and you'll be set and served

I have that done But it still doesn't update my accounts in WHM each night? it sends off invoices though??

If it is properly linked with the server settings and Remote Access Key is set then accounts will be automatically provisioned upon invoice payment.

 

The cron will suspend and remove accounts based on your payment settings. So it should suspend the account if it has reached the end of it's paid period.
