I'm coming up on 60 days with WHMCS...

I love this program.

 

And I'm learning more every day. But I have two questions:

 

Since I'm coming up on my first renewals, I'm trying to think ahead as to what to expect (problem wise).

 

1) Using PayPal - I have both a credit card gateway and PayPal in place for monthly payments. Gateway is no brainer as it renews easily / automatically each month just by hitting the credit card.

 

Does it work the same with PayPal? I know about PayPal subscriptions, but is that what my clients have created when using WHMCS?

 

2) WHMCS offers fine e-mail service. Have you found a way to integrate autoresponder service as well?

1. You'll have to tell us whether your customers have created PayPal subscription by looking in your account If you've got "Force Subscriptions" ticked in Configuration > Payment Gateways, then the probably have.

 

2. Please describe what you mean by an autoresponder service.

um, you shouldnt have the "Force one time payments" button checked.

 

if you were getting paypal subscriptions you would know, since paypal would send you emails about them.
