WHMCS+Kayako 'combination' & ResellOne Domain Reseller

JFSG

Question

I have 2 queries..

Well, some of you may have seen this thread on WHT, but I'm posting again here for a clearer answer.

I am planning on purchasing Kayako Support Suite & WHMCS. But I have a problem here, which I am unsure of. When a client order something, it must go through WHMCS billing. But after that, how can I let them automatically have a Kayako helpdesk account, since I don't intend to use WHMCS as a helpdesk.

Regarding ResellOne domain reseller, I have emailed them, but I wish to hear some comments and information about them here too.

Can we have sub-resellers? Are there any ID protection for domains(private registration)? DNS forwarding, email forwarding? Create/view/change nameservers? View/change WHOIS? DNS management?

What form of payment do they have?

Thanks a lot for answering :)

I can answer your first question.

With the default integration provided by Kayako for WHMCS your clients can not access SupportSuite directly.

What it does provide is access to all of their support tickets, the knowledgebase, news and downloads from SupportSuite within the WHMCS wrapper so they can log into WHMCS and see all of that information.

If you want users to be able to log into Kayako directly then you either need to provision their accounts with a script when they signup in WHMCS or use a LoginShare or SessionShare. You can find a link to a free LoginShare in my sig, there is also a paid version out there which may suit your needs. A link to that is on the Kayako forums.

Hope that helps.
