re-sending EPP code and directi new authorization request question

hi,

 

I had initiated a transfer(my own domain) from namecheap to directi via my client account from WHMCS. However i had not disabled whoisguard within namecheap before the transfer.

 

Logging into my reseller directi account asks me to respond to the email address sent to whois.

 

Obviously i need to re-do the whole thing from the start.

 

How do

1) i cancel the transfer order from within directi

2) how to cancel the my order from WHMCS

3) refund myself with Cc processor --- CDG commerce.

 

IF there is anyway to re-generate the EPP code and use it for the transfer process i can avoid doing the refund and cancelling my order from whmcs.

I have to do the whole thing from scratch. So i re-genertated the EPP code from namecheap.

 

I have already billed the domain price in WHMCS even though the domain did not transfer -- If i have to re-do the transfer for the client (myself) i have to login as client and apply for a domain transfer in which case i have to pay again.

 

Where and how in WHMCS should i refund/credit the transaction so i do not have to pay again.

You won't actually be charged by your registrar unless the transfer was complete, so as a business you haven't incurred any costs. If a customer's transfer fails we offer to manually place the transfer order again from the DirectI control panel.

 

Can you tell me how to manually place a transfer order from the directi control panel?

Login to the control panel, Products, Domains registration, Transfer

 

Fill in the domain and epp code, transfer, then put in the email address you used within whmcs (ie your one as the customer account would have been created).

 

Thats basically it, follow the prompts :)

This is what i get from my directi reseller account:

 

The below listed action is pending against this Domain Name Registration Order for doppalapudi.org, due to which this order is Locked in Processing. The system will automatically attempt to process this. However, if this action remains pending for a long duration please contact our support desk.

 

Action Requested: Transfer of doppalapudi.org from old Registrar along with 1 year Renewal

Status of the Action: Transfer waiting for Losing Registrar Approval
