Renaming install directory?

Just about to pull the trigger and move to WHMCS from Modernbill that I have been using for 5 years.

 

I do have a question though. I have done a lot of reading here but haven't found the answer.

 

Say I have my MB installed in /billing and all the customers are used to that address. I obviously need to keep that active until I have WHMCS up and running.

 

Can I install WHMCS to say the /billing2 directory and then when it's ready to go, get rid of the current /billing directory and just rename /billing2 to /billing without any major issues.

 

The goal is to have it ready to go and working with little to no downtime from the customer point of view.

Yes, that won't post a problem; you'll just need to login to the client area here and reissue your license.

Thanks for the reply, that's exactly what I needed to know. If that's all the configuration it would need to move it that is simple and great, much like a lot of the other stuff I have read here about WHMCS
