travor
Hey there, About 2 years ago I had MyDigitalDispatch running on one of my sites. It's basically a script that locks down your downloadable files and only reveals the d/l link when a customer pays successfully via PayPal. What happens if I go over to PayPal and set up the IPN to point to the MyDD script? Does that totally mess up all WHMCS functions? Is there a work-around? I'm basically trying to find a way to deliver files to a customer once payment has been made. TIA
VicToMeyeZR
you can already do this.... You add a package, and in the package you allow access to a D/L file to that package. They pay, and then the link is available.
travor
So you mean add a new product? Where in the new product screen do you add a URL? Or do you make a new welcome email? I thought the welcome email was sent out when the customer signs up, before paying. Am I wrong?
VicToMeyeZR
here let me help you out. 1. Setup a download 2. Setup a package for that download 3. Product type, name, etc... 4. This is where in the package you set what file they can download from that purchase. Hope that is what you are looking for. You can create a custom email, just put the link for their download page in it, and it will almost be the same thing as just attaching it to an email, or some *special download link.
travor
I know I'm late on this but I want to say "thank you" for the reply and the excellent illustrations!
