4uh
Hi, I have a question that relates to the importing of domains. I'm just setting up a new test installation of WHMCS today and I notice when adding the domain pricing I have to choose a registration provider to handle registrations / renewals for each domain type. Is it possible for domains of the same type to exist in WHMCS under different registrars? We have domains with enom but we use directi as our main registrar for new domains. When I import the domains I need them to be associated with the correct registrar in WHMCS and renewed accordingly. Is this going to be a problem?
chickendippers
You can set the registrar for an individual domain in the client profile. E.g. domain1.com can be at Enom domain2.com can be a DirectI. Whichever registrar you set in Configuration > Domain Pricing will be used for new registrations/transfers.
4uh
Ok thanks. So I guess when I import my domains, the import script should know what registrar to use for each domain and set it accordingly. Can someone clarfiy that? I would be using the AWBS import script.
