Can't access support desk

Question

I am running the trial and everytime I try to access the support desk, it states that I am not assign to the ticket or something like that and it wont allow me to view the ticket or respond.

 

I dont see anywhere where I can assign myself to a ticket or assign a department to it.

 

What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

You need to go to the following from within admin side:

 

Configuration --> Manage Administors --> Select Admin to Edit --> Click "Support Center" tab --> and then check off what departments that login Admin can access.

 

You will then be able to support tickets to the departments assigned to.
