Non-hosting billing system questions

lonny

Question

Hi Whmcs,

A couple of questions.

1. Can I use the software to create non hosting plans. I have a site that I need a billing solution for which offers 3 plans that can be paid in different timed payment. I see your system does that which is great. But can I add other services not associated with that website and be on a different order form. So site plans, then other services be on 2 different ordering forms?

2. I see you have an affiliate system but can this be integrated to use JROX or iDevaffiliate or anything else we can use?

Regards,

Lonny

Yup! This can be done with WHMCS. You can even create custom fields (text boxes, drop downs, etc) on the order form.

At this time, this is not possible. However I am may be wrong, if so please correct me.

Thanks,

Adam

It's fairly straight forward to use 'other' instead of hosting stuff - we don't really do hosting except for existing customers so essentially almost all our orders are 'other' as we do computer support.

We link to individual products as well as the cart and have customised min protals for promos or affiliates. The reminders, affiliate and ticketing system work brilliantly with 'other' same as with they do with the hosting.

You can see both in action, http://www.zuumedia.com or http://www.zuumedia.com/security

One bug bear is that you need to 'approve' each order - doesn't stop it being processed and payment taken - in fact, not quite sure what it does other than remove them of the pending list.

All in all, if you need a subscription based billing system, this is tops.
