No visible errors on order placement, but there doesnt seem to be any emails sent to uniforum, even though Ive set up WHMC to copy me on ALL emails. Anyone else using this and have it working?

pvstaden
Hi Everyone. I see Uniforums Web adress has changed, and since then I cannot lookup whois info on .co.za domains http://www.coza.net.za/ Is there something I need to change in the plugin ? Hi guys, To fix this edit the following file: /whmcs/includes/whoisservers.php Change all *.za who-is server names from http://whois.co.za to http://co.za. This should solve validation checks for all .za domain names.

VirtualArchitects
Hey, Tried both the one posted in this forum and the one via SoftDux's profile (Thanks to both of you for the contributions), but I still seem to have no luck with emails sending. The module create works fine, but then the domains just don't get sent through - I don't receive anything from COZA about failure/success of registration. 1) I have selected the correct registrar for .co.za under "Domain Pricing". 2) I have configured the plugin via the "Domain Registrars" area. Is there anything else I should be doing? Thanks in advance, Chris

Is there anything else I should be doing? Thanks in advance, Chris Chris, if you click on Setup >> Domain Pricing ... What did you select under Auto Registration next to the .co.za tld? PS: I would never ever allow the module to send an email automatically to Uniforum, to register a domain, once the client registered the domain, you should make it a manual process in the admin side. What if a client orders 30 domains, the module sends the emails and the client doesn't pay?
VirtualArchitects
Hi, When I order just a domain name through my WHMCS client area - the request is successful and then I mark it as paid and the email gets sent to COZA. I then recieve a email from COZA (Client side email) saying that there are no nameservers found? Could this be because it is being sent too quickly? Is anyone else using an updated version of this module or have any news? Regards, Chris

noisehosting
Could someone please assist with the right syntax to use for .co.za inside the whoisservers.php file? The current one is not working. Help. :-( You can try this. The issue appears to be that the WHOIS service http://www.whois.co.za/ has been taken down. It appears instead that the URL has now been changed to http://co.za/ so open the file includes/whoisservers.php and change the line: .co.za|http://whois.co.za/cgi-bin/whois.sh?Domain=|HTTPREQUEST-No Matches to: .co.za|http://co.za/cgi-bin/whois.sh?Domain=|HTTPREQUEST-No Matches And then give it another try.

I am having the same problem with .co.za Any domain I try lookup comes back as unavailable. What I have tried so far. 1. Open port 43 2. Update .co.za url in whoisservers.php 3. disable firewall completely Please if someone knows what this problem is please let me know. zamrg
It might help creating a simple php script to debug this: The following should be created and run on the server so the whois originates from the server ip. $post_data = array( 'username' => 'your username', 'password' => 'your password', 'accesskey' => 'your access key if ip restriction isn\'t set', 'action' => 'domainwhois', 'domain' => 'domain.co.za' ); $ch = curl_init(); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'http://url/to/whmcs/includes/api.php'); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_TIMEOUT, 30); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST, 1); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, http_build_query($post_data)); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); $response = curl_exec($ch); preg_match('/^result=success;status=(available|unavailable);whois=(.*)$/i', $response, $matches); $status = $matches[1]; $whois_data = urldecode($matches[2]); echo 'STATUS: ' . $status . '<br /><br />'; echo 'WHOIS DATA:<br />'; echo $whois_data; I suspect you may be getting a 'Data mining count exceeded from IP Address XXX.XXX.XXX>XXX.' error, in which case, there's nothing you can really do. I just tried about 7 whois from my own IP and received this error, so it looks like there threshold is rather low.
Webculture
Thanks for the script I will give it a try. regarding the data mining error, I also thought that at first but I tried checking a domain directly in ssh using #lynx http://co.za/cgi-bin/whois.sh?Domain=wefssfgd.co.za and the domain is available. I will let you know what happens with the script, thanks It might help creating a simple php script to debug this: The following should be created and run on the server so the whois originates from the server ip. $post_data = array( 'username' => 'your username', 'password' => 'your password', 'accesskey' => 'your access key if ip restriction isn\'t set', 'action' => 'domainwhois', 'domain' => 'domain.co.za' ); $ch = curl_init(); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'http://url/to/whmcs/includes/api.php'); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_TIMEOUT, 30); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST, 1); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, http_build_query($post_data)); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); $response = curl_exec($ch); preg_match('/^result=success;status=(available|unavailable);whois=(.*)$/i', $response, $matches); $status = $matches[1]; $whois_data = urldecode($matches[2]); echo 'STATUS: ' . $status . Allb
The module works. Have you tested it with your own email to check all the information ? Check who is sending the email when doing the test as you might not be receiving the replies. Do the other modules send email eg. support and the order system ? The transfer module does not transfer the sending email so this has been duplicated my latest module. Thanks for this module, but I have problems getting it to work. Yes, I have tested with my own email and receive nothing Not sure what you mean here. Rest of the email works fine.
