knowledge base auto suggest not workig with "portal" template

Hi all,

 

I'm not sure if it's just me, or is it how it works? When I choose the portal template, then the knowledge base auto-select feature doesn't work.

 

i.e. when you submit a support ticket, it doesn't automatically suggest articles from the knowledge base.

 

But, when I choose the default template, it does work. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this feature only part of the dedault template?
