tywe
Hello, I just started using WHMCS and converted my ModernBill v4 customer over to it, which turned out to be a lot more work than expected. However, I am mostly finished with that now and am working on the e-mail templates, but I just noticed that a stored credit card will get erased if a transaction is declined? This doesn't make much sense to me, since customer cards will frequently fail for temporary reasons and I don't want to make them log in and re-enter credit card details every time this happens. The other part that doesn't make sense to me is why WHMCS has automation settings to retry failed credit cards if it is going to delete the credit card info after a payment fails anyhow? Hopefully I am missing something here and am wrong about how this works, since I haven't allowed any of the automation to run yet and have been trying things manually at this point. Maybe the automated credit card failures will leave the info in the database for use on future retry attempts? Any help or info will be greatly appreciated.
