Jpoke5
I have seen posts about whmcs purchasing domains while in testing mode. is there any way to test my domain setup with enom without it buying a domain? i have added my testing ip to my enom test area and have testing box checked in whmcs. I just don't want it to buy a domain when I'm testing the system... Thanks!! Jeff
mobile
You can contact Enom so they can set up an account to be used as a test mode. I did this in the past but it has been a long time since using enom.

mobile
I believe that would only apply if you are testing the domain registration and only check the box under WHMCS but forget to request a test account. My impression on those threads was that domains were being created but the WHMCS users were only checking the box on the admin section which does not automatically make your account a test account until you request one. If you are using the test account, you are not using your funds but instead you will be using the enom credits which I believe it's around $5000 as far as I can recall.
Redundant
To add to other comments: For Enom, if you haven't setup a test account and added your IP to that test account, you will get an error about your IP being unauthorized. If you have your live Enom account (and have activated your IP with their Support) and setup a Test account at Enom, the tick-box in WHMCS Admin should be the only thing necessary to flip flop back-and-forth. Works for me anyway. Most of the threads I have seen for domain purchases while attempting tests were with DirectI / ResellerClub. I haven't had this issue. Maybe a Test Account would be wise to use with DirectI.
