Generated cPanel passwords dont work

I have an interesting problem - after a client creates an account - WHMCS creates the cPanel account correctly however the password is incorrect.

 

I checked the account exists on my hostgator reseller acount with all the specified features. The only problem is that the client cannot login - with their automatically generated password.

 

Can anyone help?
