Affiliate account for: webdesigner who also signsup as a client

hi,

I have a webdesigner who signed up for an affiliate account. I am assuming she will signup for a hosting package on her clients behalf.

Is there a *******possible conflict****between webdesigners affiliate account and also if she signsup on behalf of her client. How will she have signup to for a hosting package and still have XX% deposited into her affiliate account?

Does the webdesigner need to signup 2 different accounts/logins?

please advise

thanks

The web designer is simply assigned as an Affiliate, and then can use the Affiliate Order link (you may need to supply her with this!) when signing up new accounts for her clients. That way, new clients get their own account, but they are connected to the webdesigner's affiliate account.

If she does not use the Affiliate Order link, you can manually assign her as the Affiliate for the new client's account.

Hope that clears things up :)

Jacob

The webdesigner signs up her client on their behalf -- aka --- she uses her own account to register them for all packages/domains etc -- and she bills them seperately.

question 2:

Webdesigner #1 knows other webdesigners #2 , #3 etc -- who want to signup as an affiliate also. Webdesigner #1 wants $$$ for referring them to me. -- Is something like this enabled in WHMCS?

thanks

So, she uses her own billing system like WHMCS but orders the accounts through you, right? I see no problem here.

If #2 and #3 are just affiliates and don't sign up for services, then no, only the affiliate bringing in the order would receive commission (in order words, WHMCS is not a multi-tiered affiliate system).

Yes it will.

Some people in their affiliate programs do not allow people to use the affiliate program on themselves (which is esentially what is happening), but as long as that's not an issue, then yes, the affiliate program will work nomatter WHO signs up and if they click NEW account or click the Login as Existing Customer.

Test it out, it should work without any problem.
