Configurable Option - Setup Fee after Purchase?

Hey Folks,

Hoping for some clarification on how Configurable Options work. I have a configurable option with a setup fee. At checkout, the setup fee is properly displayed.

 

After purchasing the hosting package and going to Configurable Options, only the price is displayed for the item. No Setup Fee. Setup Fee doesn't show up in the Config-Options Cart either.

 

Is this by design? No Setup Fees after the "Main" Product is already purchased?
