how to setup: client pays 9 months get 3 mths off

Hi,

 

Can you tell me what is the best way to setup the following in WHMCS:

 

I want to create the following Temporary promotion:

 

NEW customer gets 3 months off if he pays for the whole year in advance. So basically i think he/she would pay for 9 month and get the consecutive 3 months off.

 

I presently have a slight discount for customers who signup for 1 year.

 

any advice is much appreciated.

I was able to make a promo code to take 25% of annual billing, i have 2 questions regarding this:

 

1)When i choose the % option for taking 25 % off -- the "value" does not show the " % ".

2) Also i have mentioned before that when the promo is not going on new customers will still get a small discount if they signup for a year rather than monthly -- this i have already incorportated into the pricing plan.

 

My concern regarding point #2 is that when new customers signup using the PROMO code will the **** promo code discount ADDto the already discounted YEARLY plan??? ****

 

I hope i am being clear in my question if not please tell me and i will rephrase it to be more precise.

Vijay, you could use the "Duplicate a product" function to make a copy of the plan you refer to in point #2 above. Apply the promo code to that plan only, and do not discount the yearly cost. Solved.

 

As for the other issue, you'd need to email me your login details so that I can check it out.
