Relationship of Reseller Club control panel to WHMCS control panel

Since we can now setup our customers on their own Reseller Club accounts, I am looking at how to integrate with WHMCS.

 

Assume for the moment that a customer registers a domain and purchases DNS Management and Email Forwarding through the WHMCS control panel.

 

What happens if the customer uses the DirectI control panel to change nameservers, to add email forwarders, add or modify DNS records, etc. - Will those be picked up correctly by WHMCS?

 

In other words, can the customer use the DirectI control panel for management functions without screwing up WHMCS?

 

Let me re-iterate that I am only talking about the management functions and am making the assumption that the domains and added features were purchased through WHMCS.
