Redundant
Hey Folks, I thought I was going to be able to create a kind of "Premium Membership" environment with WHMCS and Product Addons, but I was mistaken. Basically, I would like to offer certain Clients which have a Premium top-of-the-line type of Hosting Package, some additional incentives. Such as: Lower fees for Maintenance (Maintenance Packs), Design Packs (Adjusted Fees), Etc. I tried this out, providing an Addon for the Hosting Package, but when I ordered the Addon, it didnt charge me. So, I guess this scenario/ability isn't possible? Since I misunderstood the Addon facility in WHMCS, I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to pull this off with the default WHMCS? Thanks for any ideas and discussion =)
Redundant
In the post above, I mistakenly use the word Addon. I was actually attempting to use Hidden Products, and make them Upgrades to a single hosting package. This way they were only visible to clients with that hosting package. But, this seemed to have odd behavior at checkout. And, the products aren't necessarily "hosting addon's" Which makes this method of selecting the service a bit strange...
