Pre-sale questions

Hi. We are vBulletin developers and interested in WHMCS for our new project:)

 

Here are my questions before to buy an owned license.

 

1. The main branch of our production is vBulletin plugins and modifications sale. Does WHMCS provide all tools to sell software? Is there already existing mechanism of uploading the product, pricing set, versions support (when all previous versions are available for customer) etc. Please, provide all materials that are available so we can research them and make decision, including success stories, live stores if available.

 

2. Does WHMCS have add-ons and templates resource (I mean non-commercial, free for license owners)?

You can indeed offer products that have downloads attached to them through WHMCS. See http://wiki.whmcs.com/Products_and_Services#Download_Distribution for details.

 

WHMCS comes with 2 default templates. Most of our users create custom templates to match their existing website and the entire frontend is customisable for maximum flexibility.
