Couldn't resolve host 'secure.authorize.net'

My system bills perfectly automatically overnight, but when I try to pay an invoice using the manual attempt payment button, i get this error in the gateway log:

 

 

Capture Error

An unknown error occurred. Please check the gateway log.

 

Then in the gateway log it shows:

Response Reason Text => Couldn't resolve host 'secure.authorize.net'

 

Never got this before,

 

is this the same issue others are experiencing, anyone have a fix?
