sunwest
I am trying to edit the homepage.tpl file in the default templates folder. I want to add another option to those available. I added my option, to include the link description and icon, to the homepage.tpl file; added the title and description information to the English.txt lang file, and when I uploaded the edited file my page went blank. All other .tpl files were unaffected, but my homepage.tpl file is now a blank page. Did I miss a step in this operation? I added this to the homepage.tpl file - {$LANG.forumtitle} {$LANG.forumdescription} plus an appropriate icon. I added this to the .txt lang file - $_LANG["forumtitle"] = "Support Forum"; $_LANG["forumdescription"] = " You can use our Support Forum for additional help.";

sunwest
Thanks for the help. But do you mean to clear the entire templates_c folder of all its contents?

uberhost
Thanks for the help. But do you mean to clear the entire templates_c folder of all its contents? Exactly. Looks like you're up and running, good job.
