Dolbz
Hi. I'm in the process of setting up WHMCS with ResellerClub/DirectI. First off there's two registrar modules one for DirectI and one for ResellerClub. They have slightly different fields so don't appear to be interchangeable. As I have an account with ResellerClub I'm assuming I have to use that module. Is this correct? From the WHMCS wiki it appears that with DirectI you use a single customer account to register all the domains for your clients (non-intuitive setup but hey) and the DirectI module lets you specify a customer account to use for all the registrations. So my question is... When using the ResellerClub module you don't have to specify a customer ID so what customer do the domains get registered under (or does WHMCS create a new ResellerClub customer for every actual customer who signs up on our site)? I hope that's clear enough. Please ask if you need any clarification. Thanks
chickendippers
The ResellerClub module creates a new ResellerClub customer for every actual customer who signs up through your website. The DirectI module works exactly how you mentioned; under a single customer. You can choose either depending on how you want to operate.
