philip Posted July 11, 2008 Share Posted July 11, 2008 I have setup the affiliate system, running some test and I can see the visitors, referrers and when link is click it goes to our homepage. So technically it is working. One thing that puzzle me is, does the affiliate link actually count as backlink by search engine? I ran a search at http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com and see no backlinks generated by the affiliate links. The sites which has our affiliate link, are indexed in google and yahoo, and the link been on the sites for 1 month.
