Removing "child" nameservers

Jortex

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Im using Directi as my domain registrar (signed up through the WHMCS reseller)

When using the Register nameservers feature via WHMCS it all works ok except when trying to remove them i get the below error:

{ipaddress1=Invalid IpAddress n. Its not attached to Nameserver}

Adding or editing them works fine and the additions or edits are there when viewing the child nameservers in Directi.

Im currently testing this with a domain i dont use and have the child nameservers listed in Directi successfully as shown below:

(obviously ive edited out the full hostnames and ip's)

As mentioned, adding or editing these via WHMCS works ok and the changes are made on the Directi system, its only when i try removing one i see the error highlighted in red above.

Any advice or suggestions are welcome.

Thaks.

Hmm, you should submit a ticket. I can definitely delete child nameservers at will.

Just submitted a ticket (387362 if Matt or anyones reading)

Wasn't sure if it was a known bug or not but it obviously isnt if you don't have the same issue.

Im obviously connecting to Directi ok as im able to add and edit child nameservs without errors.

Ive also reuploaded the /registrars/directi/ folder from the latest release just to make sure, still no luck.

Just have to wait and see what they come back with.
