Rick67
I have been searching the forum and PayPal for these simple answers! I have PayPal Payments Standard with WHMCS. I am just beginning and have much to learn! Fortunately I have experts on this forum to guide me! My first client faxed me his debit card informaton. I signed in, opened his invoice and clicked Paypal to charge his debit card. I entered all information and got this message from PayPal: "We are unable to verify this credit card through our card validation...please verify you have entered correct information"... Questions: 1) they say "credit card" but I am entering a debit card. Do they accept debit cards as if they are credit cards? 2) what information do they verify? Assuming I entered the Debit card number, security code and expiration date correctly, what else do they look at? I greatly appreciate the help and feedback!
osckar
1) debit and credit cards are "quite" the same when purchasing online 2) they verify the name on card, address, telephone, city, state, country along with CC number, security code and exp date
