sean14592
Hi, I have just bought an established web hosting company, Though When buying I was told the company had like 80 members so I though cool, I paid and now login to the WHMCS and I can see a lot of transaction details and on the main page I cna see in the left coloumn it says 'Monthly: £271.50 (37)' but when i click clients no clients are appearing anywhere, I ahve looked in WHM and there are acocunts but with like 0mb used. Should I see this as been a *? OR is there something in WHMCS to stop me from seeing these things? Cheers Sean
chickendippers
Login to the gateway (Paypay, Protx etc) and see if the transactions are real, or just fake ones.

handsonwebhosting
Hi Sean, If the accounts show 0MB in your WHM it could be a quotas issue, or quotas may not have been enabled. You'll want to run a full integrity check on the system. You'll also want to log into the actual server and check the individual accounts to see if there are files in there, and what dates etc. When you purchased the company, did they say that the clients paid via credit card or paypal, and if paypal, did they say the paypal information would be forwarded to you? Also, in most hosting company purchases that we have done in the past we usually have a retainer with the owner of the previous company for a period of 30 days (or longer depending on the size of the hosting company). This allows us time to get up to speed on specific users and server configurations etc. You'll definitly want to contact the previous owner to help evaluate your WHMCS system and why certain things are not showing.
