Which Payment Gateways support which WHMCS features?

Recommended Posts

We are looking at changing credit card processors.

WHMCS supports a large number of credit card processors.

Has anyone seen a matrix that shows which processors support which WHMCS features?

More specifically, I am interested in knowing:

  • Which processors support recurring transactions?
  • Which one's provide ease of use and transparency for my customers using WHMCS?
  • Which one's are not overly restrictive in which transactions they approve?
  • Which one's work well in WHMCS?
  • Which one's are heavily used by WHMCS customers?**

**The last one is important because the more popular the processor is with WHMCS customers, the more attention will be paid to developing and maintaining it! :)

Let me clarify. I can see how what I wrote would be confusing.

I mean recurring billing to be WHMCS running the charges on a schedule - not the processor providing recurring billing.

This requires a merchant account that will allow you to run charges without a CVV or a card swipe.

I've seen comments about which processors give you a hard-time with allowing no CVV / no Card Swipe transactions or requiring a large reserve to allow charges without the CVV.

So, my real questions are:

1. Which of the processors will authorize non-CVV transactions without a large reserve?

2. Of those, do any of them work better or worse with WHMCS.
