litewire
If anyone out there is using DNP to create FTP accounts can you tell me if it is intentional that DNP removes group information when suspending these accounts? For example I have user A with an FTP account which DNP sets up correctly and inserts into the corresponding Windows security group. The problem is that if you suspend this account it deactivates the account correctly, but it also removes the group membership. When the account is unsuspended it is reactivated in Active Directory as you might expect but the group membership is not restored. I can't imagine why a suspend operation would mess with group membership and I can't find any settings that might affect this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Onionman
Sounds like a problem with DotNetPanel, as WHMCS just tells DNP what to do and has nothing to do with actually removing permissiosn etc. You'd be better off posting for advice @ http://forum.dotnetpanel.com/forums/
litewire
Yes, I agree and have confirmed this to be true by suspending an account from the DNP interface directly. If only all programs performed like WHMCS... oh well. I posted here because people over here tend to be more helpful and there is a chance that someone here has run into the issue. In any case, thanks!
