Upgrades / Downgrades

banar

Question

Hi,

I'm still using trial ver. WHMCS is really amazing.

I have a question:

I setup 2 products

BASIC - $99 setup fee + $39/month

POWER - $199 setup fee + $99/month

Let's say a client that signed up for BASIC plan, did the upgrade to POWER plan after 48 hours. $61.30 invoice has been generated. How did it come up with that $61.30 and why did it forget about setup fee difference? How can I make it work correctly?

Thank you,

Tom B.

I'm still confused...

I've tested with this :

Package 1 : 50$ Per Year.

Package 2 : 100$ Per Year.

Sign-Up P1, didn't pay the package, ask for an upgrade to P2... price was 0$... (uh??)

Sign-Up P1, pay the package, ask for an upgrade to P2, price was 50$ (it's ok!)

Changed "Due Date" to one month early, ask for an upgrade to P2, price was 42.xx$ (seem's ok ?)

Changed "Due Date" to today, ask for an upgrade to P2, price was 0$ (uh??)

Changed "Due Date" to today+one month, ask for an upgrade to P2, price was 4.xx$ (seem's ok)

How can a person who hasn't paid for a package will upgrade it, I guess either he has to pay it first before client can upgrade it or else order a new pack.... simple

Due date can be change by you, if you are testing it from client point of view they are not allowed to do so (i guess??)

or may be this is your answer

pay for that package first and then ask for upgrade or order a upgrade version straight away
