Richie Posted May 28, 2008 Share Posted May 28, 2008 Got a bit of a problem that we have noticed with the new v3.6.1 and its new facility for customers to simply select not to renew a domain name themselves. If a customer already has an invoice raised for the domain name renewal and they then think "I dont need that domain any more" (As they often do) they can then login and click on "Do not renew" WHMCS is ignoring this and still charges the invoice on the due date and auto-renews the domain name regardless, leaving us in the doo-doo because WHMCS system hasnt notified us that they have cancelled the domain name after the invoice was raised, nor has it prevented a customer from clicking the "Do not renew" nor has it "Not renewed" the domain name. So, how do we get around this? Looks like were going to have to start raising invoices on the same day they are due, and charge peoples cards that very same day too, leaving zero time between invoice raised, and invoice debited.
