Troy
I have a customer who was refered to us by her mother. She wants to ensure that her Mother always gets credit for any business she transacts with us. Today, she registered a couple new domain names. To ensure her month got credit, she visited our site through her affiliate url. However, the sale was not credited as a referral. She has cookies enabled, and her first order was properly credited. So, my questions are: 1. Does WHMCS disregard affiliate tracking if the customer signing up is already in the system? 2. If the answer to #1 above is no, what might have happened for this sale not to be credited? I checked the wiki but there wasn't enough detail about how the affiliate system works to answer this question.
9thnode
I am not sure what happened, but you can always add the referral to the order manually.
Troy
Not when it has already been marked active (The customer asked about the referral after the order was marked active.)
lynnette
As far as I know, domain name sales are not included in the affiliate system because of the usually very small profit margin on them.
