SageStone
Hello, I am currently customizing the Client Summary page of WHMCS, and am having trouble getting a thing or two to work how I want it. I am looking to take an exact copy of the "Notes" tab, and put it into the "Summary" tab. Would anyone happen to know the code for the contents of the "Notes" tab of a client's profile? Best Wishes, David
SageStone
Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?
litewire
It appears that this has been asked before as well and I don't see that there ever was an answer... Of course I found this post because I would like to do this as well. For the people that ask why we might want this, it is the same reason that "the last 5 emails" show on the summary...."because they can". In the case of the notes, this is actually a usability issue because the only alternative option is to train everyone to never forget to check the notes tab. Why should we have to risk people missing a step? I am not criticizing WHMCS in the slightest here. Clearly a lot of people just don't care about having that information displayed in the summary, but it must be possible. Matt, if you are reading this are we wasting our time trying?
DepotMan
This would be a nice and useful addition in my opinion. If a client has registered using the domain / hosting email account that is suspended, there is no way to get a message to the customer. I would like to see and option like a check box added to the Notes section to show it on the client area page. It could then be used as both admin and display to the client notes (with time stamps). HerrZ
why not displaying all Notes from the notes tab in clientarea? for "secret notes" there is the admin notes box in client summary, too.
bugfix
i solved it this way: hook "AdminAreaClientSummaryPage" -> sql to table "tblnotes" and get all sticky notes -> output them
