Pictures in Product Description & Different display methods

Unless I am grossely missing something... It's almost as if FF isnt auto stretching the cartbox to fit the contents

It also appears that the text in IE is centralised, whilst in FF its left justified, as it should be........

Ok, gotcha. I think its your .css that need adjusting. Make it work in FF first then try to please IE.

I think its to do with the template file 'configureproduct.tpl'

 

As that is where its pulling the layout from, and this file doesn't contain the ammendments I made to the 'products.tpl' file

 

But it works in IE7, so how can that be

IE is more giving with designing than FF, so you could just play with the css.

Ahaaaa Sussed it

 

It was the configureproduct.tpl file

 

In it was the following: -

 

{if $productinfo}

<p class="cartsubheading">{$LANG.orderproduct}</p>

<div class="cartbox"><strong>{$productinfo.groupname} - {$productinfo.name}</strong><br />

{$productinfo.description}</div>

 

I needed to remove the above bold/red text, and all is good, it now displays fine in all browsers

if you use firefox, download the web dev toolbar..

or just run your pages through http://validator.w3.org

Nice work. How did you manage to change the color of the basic font for the body text, like this -

 

"The product/service you have chosen has the following configuration options for you to choose from."

 

and

 

"This product/service requires some additional information from you to allow us to process your order."

 

I've managed to change almost all other colors, except for these, can't find them for the life of me in any of the style.css sheets.

his is from the body (all the text shares the same color)

 

But all you need to do is assign a class to it.. and change the color via the stylesheet or hard code it

I noticed that your .tpl files are directly accessible.

 

I'm all for information sharing and collaborating, but people should do their own work.

 

now that you have (almost) finished your layout, you might want to protect it so that others can't 'skim' your work.
