Switching to Enom

Recommended Posts

I also tried to place a domain test order and in the admin panel on the order I see a Maxmind error: MaxMind Configuration Error Insufficient funds to make call.

What does that mean and what should I do? Thanks!

Ok I called Enom again and you were correct Mr.Dippers :). Thanks for flagging it for me!

That means what it says - your maxmind account is out of funds so it couldn't do a telephone fraud check.

How do I add funds?

I called them and I asked them do they want my server's ip and they said no they want my static/computer's ip. I'll call them back and hopefully I get someone else.

You got an answer from someone who has no idea :) , you need your server ip address , when you try to register a domain and enom will return an error with your server ip address not the dedicated one.

but send them both like i do , they will add both

Why would enom ask for your ip ? From what I know, Enom asks for your servers` ip, the one that send requests, else you can`t use the enom api.

I found that strange also but that is what their support said, then I spoke to another support and he said no no its the server.
