Joel
Did anyone else just start having problems with registering domain names with DirectI? I'm now getting the follwoing errer, "DirectI Client Details Validation Error", with no other details. If I put in the wrong reseller info, I get that same error, but I also get a "username/password incorrect" error. With the correct info I only get that single line. I hadn't changed anything before I started having this problem. And I just registered another name a few days ago, so I can't figure out what the problem is. Any ideas?
Joel
Wow. This was an annoying error. It turns out that the customer has entered his phone number in the following format "(123) 555-1212". DirectI was rejecting the name registration because of that. I just had to change the number to "123-555-1212". Matt, do you think we could get some type of validation on that field for when the customer changes their details?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted September 11, 2006 WHMCS CEO Share Posted September 11, 2006 Hi, the DirectI module already automatically strips out dots (.) and dashes(-) from the phone number before sending to DirectI. It won't be difficult to make it so it also removes brackets aswell. Matt
