pacwebhosting
Hi, From where I am currently I am using IE6 and getting http://www.hostvitality.com/upgrade_for_your_security.php when trying to browse your site. I use IE7 ordinarily just thought I would flag it up as a lot of people still use IE6 even though they should upgrade etc! and if I was looking to buy hosting and got your message it would make me look elsewhere. Thanks Paul
Baja
According to w3schools statistics for March, IE6 was used 30.1% compared to IE7's 21.9% and FF's 37.0%. Thats quite a chunk of possible clients to be gambling with because you a) do not know how to accommodate them with your designs skills or b) just think everyone should update for security reasons.

HostVitality
Thank you all. I am working heavily on a fix for IE6, as the design is still really buggy in it, until that time the update page will show. generic, it is WebsiteBaker
Nick
The page doesn't display properly in firefox (2 and 3 beta 5) in ubuntu, it doesn't like your flash header. It also scrolls erratically because of the element clinging to the bottom of the screen.

Version for IE6 should be working. What version of flash, not that it probably matter to much, just so I can duplicate the exact issue and have it worked on. Again guys, thank you for your reviews. Baja
Is it really necessary to use flash in your header? Kind of confused about that one.
HostVitality
Is it really necessary to use flash in your header? Kind of confused about that one. At this time, no not really. However there is a system in place to include, at random, helpful information, promotions, company statements, etc.
Baja
I'm sure you could still accomplish what you are talking about with out using flash. You might want to check out: scriptarchive.com/rand_text.html scriptarchive.com/ssi_image.html These are random with page refreshes. It use Server side includes. There are a few hundred more that use javascript too, though javascript might be looked down on by some as with flash. This is just one quick suggestion and with everything on the net please use at your own discretion of course.
JasonO
I like it, especially the transparent image making it fade at the bottom of the content - looks quite neat.
HostVitality
Baja, a system at which you spoke of is in plans to also be in place for people that are not using flash. What is the downside to using flash, you seem highly against it? Are you also running into an issue? Thanks JasonO HostVitality Matt W.
Baja
LoL, no I am not against using flash per say. I was just trying to help you out since it was said to not be displaying correctly by the other poster. The site works fine for me and is looking good.
