What type servers are you using? As in are you using your own name servers or are you paying for registrar supplied name servers?

You need at least two for a domain to work properly. If you are using your own name server, you have to register is at your domain registrar for it to work properly also.

For example I am using my own name servers:

ns1.memoryx2.us

ns2.memoryx2.us

They both have to be registered with the registrar I use which is eNom. Both servers have their own IP address also which is used when registering them.

Once your name server is registered you then update all of your domains to the nameserver you registered.

Once this is done it can take 12-24 hours to propagate depending upon different factors. eNom has usually taken under 1 hour for me the last few months but like I said can take up to 24 hours.

For your domains to work properly you will have to use a set up very similar to what I just described.
