ArbuZz
Greetings there! Truly amazing product you have, our compliments By now we have only one problem. Our server is heavily firewalled. Inbound, outbound traffic - everything is blocked. Currently we have to flush our iptables for WHMCS to work correctly. What ports must we open on a server to obtain full functionality of your billing system - creation, suspension, termination of accounts on servers, import, etc. Are 22 and 80 ports enough?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted April 22, 2008 WHMCS CEO Share Posted April 22, 2008 What modules are you using? Matt
brianoz
You'll need ports through to your Cpanel implementation - the same ports as WHM uses - 2086 and 2087 I think. If you don't use cpanel then it will be the ports specific to whatever control panel you are using that you'll need open. You may also need special ports available for your registrars, and I think that's about it.
ArbuZz
What modules are you using? Matt We use WHM/cPanel and the base install of WHCMS. No additional modules, add-ons, etc.
uberhost
Greetings there! Are 22 and 80 ports enough? I wouldn't go advertising that your SSH port is on 22, and in fact it would be smart to use a different port as well as binding to an IP other than your shared IP.

Actually 22 port is open for certain IPs only.
