MyLama
Hi - I have a corporate client that has registered a number of domains and packages with me. The account provisioning defaults to the first n letters of the domain name as the user name. This is highly problematic as the customer will amost certainly be adding additional services and it is not going to provision as the username will already be in use from the previous order. Is there any way to change / over-ride this setting? Thanks
chickendippers
We have encountered this problem already. The solution is to manually input a different username before accepting the order. However a fix for the automatic system is definitely required.

WHMCS CEO Matt Posted March 31, 2008 WHMCS CEO Share Posted March 31, 2008 The automated username that gets generated will always be unique inside WHMCS. So if the username is already taken, it will have a number added to the end until it is unique. Matt
