ColumbusGEEK v2 Joomla 1.5+WHMCS

Recommended Posts

I really wanted to put the infamous word inteRgration in the subject line just to fit in. :)

Anyhow, Version2 of ColumbusGEEK.com. This time around I am using Joomla 1.5 and of course the most recent version of WHMCS. Matt and his team did the WHMCS header and footer.

As with any site there is a loose end here and there but it is perfectly usable for clients.

I tried to keep everything a lot cleaner and neater. It was important for me to make all the important info or questions be readily available. On my old site I had a lot of clients in the past ask for my previous work or portfolio, even though there was a obvious link to it. I tried to front-and-center my portfolio as well as what services I offer this time around.

WHMCS has some minor template edits to remove features I do not use, and to make some processes clearer or look nicer.

Please feel free to point out my most ridiculous spelling or grammar mistakes.

I ran the old site for a year with not one sign up. Hopefully the new navigation and design will help a bit this year, as well as me actually doing some marketing.

looks great, excellent 1.5 intergration.

Can i suggest a couple of enhancements for when you get to the home stretch (if not there already)?

your joomla & WHMCS fonts don't look 'quite' the same, even though they probably are. Could you up the WHMCS font by 1pt to give it a more cohesive look?

Also your 3rd & 4th J! mods on right (v2/services/website-design.html) have a too large font. 4th mod breaks over 2 lines.

Gee i had to look hard to find any issues though.

;)

Thanks for the kind words.

Shimmy- The weather sucks here, and business is slow. I hope it is better up there in Dayton for you. :)

Zorro- Yup, you pointed out some things that bug me too. I have been restructuring the frontpage so the WHMCS page has taken backseat a bit. All those issue I will be addressing shortly. Thanks muchos for mentioning it though. Sometimes the little things get overlooked.
