I am planning on using this program for another online business of mine which is not web hosting. i like how this works and the invoices plus built in affiliate program.

 

can this be used for other businesses? how can i remove all traces of it being used for web hosting?

 

etc server status and domain name selection when adding products?

Just open the templates and remove the links to it. You can also remove the php files that reference those templates as well.

 

WHMCS can be used for other purposes besides hosting, but it is by no means a direct replacement for a full blown ecommerce site.

For certain other business, yes, though if you deal with things such as shipping rates by tables, weight, or carrier modules, you'll be disappointed.
