I'm not really setting up a hosting company as such, I'm enabling my users to host events listings, images, profiles etc that they have on my main community site but under their own domain name. My main site will render out a flat HTML site for them and copy it to the dir where their hosting account sits.
What I need specifically from a solution like WHMCS is the following:
- Can I enable my users to register domain names on my main site, I have set up a resellerclub.com account, but have not used it yet. Domain registration will not be free, I'll have a flat fee for all domains.
- Create a hosting account on my VPS. I do not need (or want) my users to have access to cPanel and I will only need to create one account type in WHM, no FTP, stats etc.
- The hosting will be free, there is no monthly subscription / yearly fee or set up fee.
- Having said I don't want my users to access cPanel, I do want to give them the ability to create pop mail accounts and access webmail. Is this possible?
- On registering a domain name + creating the hosting account I need to pass the user_id (according to my users table for my main site) through the registering process so that I can link my user to that domain name / hosting dir. I also need to store /home/path/to/hosting/dir against my users table.
Does the above sound feasible? Thanks in advance for your help.
