WebGuyz
Since .htaccess does not work on windows, how are others protecting files like configuration.php on windows servers? Thanks!
scurrell
You could install Isapi_Rewrite 3, which allows you to use .htaccess
WebGuyz
Found a free solution that works great. IISPASSWORD by http://www.troxo.com does the windows equivelant of .htaccess in the unix work. You can protect files or folders and its an isapi filter. Thought it only protected folders, but did some testing and found it can protect individual files like configuration.php as well.
