rmesa4748
Hello, I wouldn't call this a bug, but I would like to report my experience with hidden folders in WHMCS knowledgebase. While I was creating categories I noticed an option to "hide folder from client's area". I thought cool... I can use this feature, and create a folder called "Admin" for admin use only. Problem one, there is NO "Access Control List" and or account settings for my admins to use the knowledgebase (only back-end access, in edit mode????). Two, and most important, beware of the hidden folder. Although it may be hidden from the client's area, users can search the KB and get a listing of all articles from your hidden folder(s). Yes, you can check "must be logged in" for any file before they can read, but what good is a hidden folder if the content is still available to users logged in or not with a search routine? P.S. I don't understand this feature???? Just a note of caution, Robert
MACscr
It is actually a bug if its hidden from users, but they can still access the articles threw search or even a direct url.
