Is whmcs for selling host?

I know that you can sell other things but is it possible to make whmcs a little more friendly for other products selling? like a shopping mall?

WHMCS is really intended just for hosting and similar IT products that have regular subscriptions. Don't get misled; WHMCS is really nice, but it isn't a general purpose shopping cart and wouldn't work well in that scenario - it's just not designed for that. You're better off using Xcart or OScommerce for that (for example).

It can be used for other products. Also there are some things displayed that require a lot of template editing to remove, which are related to hosting etc.

 

But yes, it is possible to use WHMCS for non hosting purposes.
