teal
Just installed the trial and so far almost everything has been working. The only problem at this point is the POP importing of mail for the ticket system is not downloading mail. It's running on a Windows 2003 server and we've setup a scheduled task to run the http://billing.domain.com/pipe/pop.php every five minutes. When we manually go to the URL we get a page showing a POP Import Log with the date/time, host, and e-mail address but no indication that anything has been imported. There are e-mails in the mailbox on the mail server waiting to be grabbed. And the email import log in WHM shows nothing. Any idea what's going wrong here?
Retired Forum Member WHMCS Joe Posted February 24, 2008 Retired Forum Member Share Posted February 24, 2008 Hi Cron Piping Method To use this method simply enter your pop email access details in Configuration > Support Departments and then setup a cron job to run the pop.php file using the command given on the Support Departments page to run every few minutes (every 5 minutes is recommended). * Your PHP build needs IMAP support for this method to function correctly. teal
Thanks! Needed to enable IMAP support in PHP. That did the trick.

Retired Forum Member WHMCS Joe Posted May 26, 2008 Retired Forum Member Share Posted May 26, 2008 Hi You will need to recompile PHP with IMAP support. Joe
spectrumhosting
Cool .. I know how to put that into the configure.php and recompile it .. but I don't have the imap to point to .. Can someone advise where to download and the steps to extract ready for the recompile .. Sorry if this sounds basic, but i'ver never had to do this.
